Summer time means summer camp, unless you're my son who decided he no longer likes camp. But if you're lucky enough to have kids who still love camp, this post is for you.
To Camp or Not To Camp?
To be honest, I can't really blame my son, when I was young I never liked camp. In hindsight, I wish I'd given it more of a chance though. I think there's a lot to learn from the experience, even if you're not the outdoorsy type.
Is Camp Today the Same?
With apps like PBJ Pickup, there are definitely some parts of camp that have changed. But I think the core of it - summer fun, in the sun, lots of kids running around playing games - that remains the same. Summer camp is a great example of how time outside and away from the screens is what our kids need more than anything.
